With our annual foray into the finest contemporary art from Alaska, we are delighted to introduce exquisite coiled grass baskets and bowls by Central Yup'ik weaver Jane Wiseman; a new body of jewelry by Joan Tenenbaum; a new collection of original gouache paintings by Thomas Stream; and a breathtaking collection of whalebone and ivory carvings from the Bering Sea Inupiaq carvers. Joan Tenenbaum will demonstrate her jewelry making Saturday, August 23rd, 2-5 pm.
